Chapter One -- Introduction. Explains the focus of this course and definitions of controls and control circuits.
Chapter Two -- Overcurrent Protection. Discusses overcurrent protection for control conductors and control transformers.
Chapter Three -- Control Panels. Wiring and positioning of controls inside control panels will be examined. It will also discuss what should be marked on the exterior of control panels and marking definitions.
Chapter Four -- Industrial Machinery. Examples of Industrial Machinery and the requirements. It will also cover Marking and Grounding requirements for Industrial Machinery.
Chapter Five -- E-Stop Circuits and Safety Circuits. Discuss E-stop circuits and safety requirements for control circuits.
Chapter Six -- Introduction to PLCs. Introduces you to basic PLC controls and requirements.
Chapter Seven -- OSHA Guarding of Motors & Machines. In addition to the NEC, there are other guidelines that pertain to the safeguarding of motors and machines.
